About me

I have a private Arts Psychotherapy practice working as an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist in Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge. Passionate about the power of psychotherapy, expression and the arts to change lives, I work with private clients, charities and business exploring various challenging and painful aspects of life.

I have worked in a variety of settings with children and adults, including as an Honorary Arts Psychotherapist in an NHS psychiatric hospital, working with individuals and groups in a number of charities including Lifecraft Cambridge and MIND, also at a Child Health Centre, hospice and in schools.

I am a Director of the Golden Yew Project CIC which offers psychological support and All Ways Making CIC which aims to improve lives through arts and culture.

I have a lifetime of involvement in the arts in various capacities, with over 22 years' experience working in education with young people with emotional and learning difficulties teaching Art, DT and Drama. I trained as a psychotherapist at The Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education (IATE) in London, and am a co-founder of a number of groups including a contemporary dance group and community arts group.
